Specialist Behaviour Support

Positive, person-centred, and trauma-informed behaviour support focused on quality of life and reducing harm.

What is Specialist Behaviour Support?

Specialist Behaviour Support is an NDIS-funded service provided by a qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner. It focuses on understanding why behaviours of concern occur, what unmet needs they represent, and how to improve quality of life through positive, evidence-based strategies.

Our approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in human rights. We do not focus on managing behaviour in isolation — we focus on understanding the whole person and what they need to thrive.

Our Core Belief:
Behaviour is communication. Our role is to understand what a person is trying to communicate, address their unmet needs, and support them to live safely and with dignity.
